Chilam Joshi Festival [Kalash Valley] 13th -17th May

Chilam Joshi, a four-day festival, will kick off on Friday, 13th May in Kalash Valley, some 27 kilometers from Chitral. The festival commemorates the arrival of summer and celebrates the abundance of dairy products during the season.
The people of Kalasha love music and dance to the beat of drums. Both men and women partake in dancing festivities, where they make circles and enjoy the sound of music.

Day 01 - Friday , 13th May
(Bumburet, Kalash Valley)
Departure from Islamabad at 8:00 AM
Pass through the Mesmerizing Lowari Tunnel to enter Chitral Valley

Transfer to local cars or Hiace at Ayun Valley
Arrival Kalash Valley at night , check in and rest.
Dinner at 8:00 PM
Overnight in Bumburet, Kalash Valley
Food: Dinner ( 13th may we will provide dinner )

Day 02 - Saturday , 14thMay
Breakfast at 9:00 AM
Sightseeing of Kalash valley
Exploring Karakal
Celebration of Chilam Joshi Festival in Karakal
Visit Kalash Museum, historical graveyard, Kalash homes.
Back to hotel in the evening
Bonfire, Music and Dance arrangement are at Campsite
Dinner will be served at 8:00 pm
Food: Breakfast + Dinner

Day 03 - Sunday , 15th May
Breakfast at 8:00 AM
Visit Traditional Shopping Items
Full day exploration of Bumburet Valley, trekking to Ramboor valley , sight seeing at ramboor Valley .
Back to hotel in the evening
Live BBQ and musical night , dinner at 8:00 pm
Food: Breakfast + Dinner

Day 04 - Monday, 16th May
Breakfast at 9:00 am
Joining of closing ceremony of joshi festival at Jesta khan Karakal.
Day spent there and evening arrival at hotel .
Dinner + Movie night at guest house.

Day 05: Early morning departure to chitral , breakfast at chitral
Visit of shahi mosque, chitral fort .
Departure for Islamabd at 11:00 am
Stop over at nagar fort for sight seeing ,
Departure back to Islamabd around 1:00 pm
Arrival at Islamabd : 10:00 pm
+/- 2 or 3 Hours can be minus or added to the route plan due to the current traffic situation.
